We also provide support for a foster shelter in Hunsur for some thirty children whose parents live in the forest. These children attend local schools and are supervised by teachers. We will be extending the building and improve the conditions of the children’s lodging.
We have launched a system of grants for studies to allow deserving students to continue their education to obtain agronomic or teaching diplomas or to complete a professional apprenticeship, a field that we will be developing in the future. We also will be supporting young people in their engineering, medical or pharmaceutical studies.

Raje Gowda is the manager of our Indian partner organization. He is a qualified agronomist and has 28 years’ experience in this type of rural and educational development. He is backed up by an excellent team. Members of the Foundation Board and third parties will continue to visit Hunsur twice a year.
