Alcoholism, migration, human trafficking and school dropouts are direct consequences of extreme poverty. Women suffer the most, they do not participate in collective decisions and their voices are not heard. Through street theatre in local languages and music from tribal dialects, awareness programmes on various topics such as the importance of health and education, the dangers of alcoholism and human trafficking are organised in the villages. Women participate in large numbers and discussions are also organised in small groups. 21,000 people have already attended this programme.
