Our goal is to make these women financially independent, to give them confidence in themselves and their abilities, to help them take control of their lives and build their future. The ultimate goal is to succeed in bringing about an economic and social change that benefits the entire community.

Tribal families live in conditions of extreme poverty and heavy debt.

Self-help groups for women and mothers are community-based savings and credit programs that encourage internal lending.

6,012 women have been trained and supported by our social workers, particularly in setting up income-generating activities (such as small livestock farming, village grocery shops, and sewing workshops) and in becoming aware of their rights so they can claim them from the government.

These meetings also serve as a platform for awareness and exchange on topics such as health, hygiene, agriculture, and children’s education. They also provide opportunities for training in sewing, literacy, agriculture, and more.
