30 Jan ✨ Sita Oraon Success story✨
Sita Oraon is from the village of Rani Tongri. Endowed with great determination, the financial difficulties she and her family faced did not prevent her from completing her studies. Despite the obstacles, she decides to pursue her dreams with the desire to be able to financially support her family.
One day, during our street theater in her village, Sita discovered the professional courses offered by our local NGO. Wanting to learn more, she visited our center with her mother and was delighted by the possibilities offered by the sewing course.
In March 2021, despite the distance between the center and her village, Sita joined the sewing class. There she acquired professional skills in clothing making. After the training, with the help of her elder brother, she got her first sewing machine and started her own sewing unit. Today, she is self-sufficient and makes blouses, saris and children’s clothing, earning the respect of her community.
But Sita’s story doesn’t end there. Currently enrolled in an office automation course in our Chanho center, she manages all her costs thanks to her income. Sita expresses her gratitude to CIAO KIDS and Amar Jyoti for their support, saying, “The training not only helped me develop my skills and start my own business, but it also gave me self-confidence. My family members are happy with my earnings, and I am proud to be able to contribute to my family’s income. »
