Alcoholism, migration, human trafficking and dropout from school are the direct consequences of extreme poverty. Women who suffer the most, they do not participate in collective decisions and their voices remain unheard.

Through street dramas in the local languages incorporating music from tribal dialects awareness programmes on a variety of issues such as the importance of health and education, the dangers of alcoholism and human trafficking are held in the villages. Women attend in large numbers and discussions are also held in small group meetings. 21,000 people have already attended the programme.

Our objective is to sensitive women on social issues and to raise their awareness, especially young girls.
