Initiatory journey: the cultural and linguistic awakening of our tribal youth

Last February, five students from our Parivarthana hostel flew to Madhya Pradesh (northern India). They had the opportunity to participate in a camp organized by the government exclusively for tribal youth and bringing together twelve Indian states.

They took up the challenge of leaving their comfort zone by accepting this chance to travel for the first time outside their State (1600 km from home). A stay which turned out to be a real adventure of discovery and personal development. This experience allowed them to meet and interact with young people from another region, it opened their eyes to new cultural and linguistic horizons. They realized how lucky they were to be able to follow the online English courses that we have set up and they are more motivated than ever to continue learning this language to communicate with as many people as possible.
