As there was no proper place for dining, one open dining hall was constructed for fostership home children use.
Our new project’s entire team wishes a very happy New Year!
Last October, Jean-François Meillard, member of the Foundation Board, and Philippe de Preux visited our Indian partner, Parivarthana, which is currently providing aid for more than 200 young people in the tribal populations of the forest around Hunsur. We saw the 2 new kindergarten schools that opened in summer 2012, one built in the forest…
We also provide assistance for more than 120 children in primary and secondary schools in the form of kits, including school bags, books and other school material that is renewed each year, and we support the enrolment fees.
We also provide support for a foster shelter in Hunsur for some thirty children whose parents live in the forest. These children attend local schools and are supervised by teachers. We will be extending the building and improve the conditions of the children’s lodging.
