At the beginning of this new year 2026, we wanted to take a moment to share some encouraging news from the field.

News that reflects the tangible impact of CIAO KIDS projects in India and Nepal.
Stories of growing autonomy, moments of joy, and the values that guide this human adventure.

In 2025, thanks to your support, CIAO KIDS continued and strengthened its work in India and Nepal, across three locations and with three local partners:

  • Hunsur – Karnataka State (South India)
  • Chanho – Jharkhand State (North India)
  • Sindhupalchowk – Nepal

Each project carried out this year helped children, young people, and women gain greater safety, independence, and confidence.

The 2025 figures

Concretely, in 2025:

  • 1,600 children gained access to education
  • 6,000 adolescents participated in health awareness courses
  • 400 young people received vocational training (sewing, office skills)
  • 168,000 school meals were served to 700 children
  • 300 school kits were distributed
  • 2,104 women were supported through Self Help Groups

Behind every number is the story of a person building their future with perseverance and hope.

What this means in real life

A daily school meal allows a child to stay in school, learn, and build a future rather than having to work.
It provides a stable environment and gradually strengthens confidence in their abilities and in their future.

Vocational training creates financial independence.
Self Help Groups enable women to save money, invest, support their families, and make their own decisions.

These are lasting transformations.
