{"id":10706,"date":"2026-09-23T16:41:44","date_gmt":"2026-09-23T14:41:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ciaokids.org\/success-story-deepali-gayatri-et-gabriella-ouvrent-la-voie\/"},"modified":"2026-09-23T16:47:05","modified_gmt":"2026-09-23T14:47:05","slug":"success-story-deepali-gayatri-et-gabriella-ouvrent-la-voie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ciaokids.org\/en\/success-story-deepali-gayatri-et-gabriella-ouvrent-la-voie\/","title":{"rendered":"Success Story: Deepali, Gayatri and Gabriella Pave the Way"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">In a society where sight is often taken for granted, Deepali, Gayatri and Gabriella powerfully demonstrate that disability does not define a person\u2019s abilities or ambitions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">After successfully completing Grade 10, the three young women reached a new milestone by enrolling at St. Anne\u2019s Intermediate College in Mandar. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">This transition represents much more than simply continuing their education. Their new school is located approximately 14 kilometres from the Chanho campus. Every morning and evening, they make the journey by bus so they can continue their studies in a new environment.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">When they arrived at St. Anne\u2019s Intermediate College, Deepali, Gayatri and Gabriella found an educational team committed to providing them with an inclusive and supportive learning environment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">This trust and support have allowed them to focus on what matters most: learning, progressing and giving their very best.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">And the results are remarkable. <\/span>In their first examinations at their new school:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">Deepali ranked 1st<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">Gayatri ranked 2nd<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">Gabriella ranked 4th<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">These achievements are a testament to their determination, but also to what becomes possible when young people with disabilities are given an environment that recognises their potential and provides them with the means to fulfil it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">The journey of Deepali, Gayatri and Gabriella carries an essential message: disability does not mean inability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">By continuing their education in an inclusive school, facing the challenges of their daily commute and achieving excellent academic results, they are also helping to change perceptions of blind and visually impaired young people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">Their presence at the college also enriches the experience of their fellow students and contributes to building a more inclusive society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">At CIAO KIDS, we are extremely proud to see them reach this new milestone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\">Deepali, Gayatri and Gabriella are not only building their own futures: they are also paving the way for other young people who, after them, will be able to believe more strongly in their own potential.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a society where sight is often taken for granted, Deepali, Gayatri and Gabriella powerfully demonstrate that disability does not define a person\u2019s abilities or ambitions.
