The ultimate goal is to succeed in bringing about an economic and social change that benefits the entire community. <\/em><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Tribal families live in conditions of extreme poverty and heavy debt.<\/p>\n<p>Self-help groups for women and mothers are community-based savings and credit programs that encourage internal lending.<\/p>\n<p>6,012 women have been trained and supported by our social workers, particularly in setting up income-generating activities (such as small livestock farming, village grocery shops, and sewing workshops) and in becoming aware of their rights so they can claim them from the government.<\/p>\n<p>These meetings also serve as a platform for awareness and exchange on topics such as health, hygiene, agriculture, and children\u2019s education.
