AMAR JOYTI is a NGO founded in 1990 in Jharkhand (north-east India) 🇮🇳

We collaborate closely with them in order to help socially and economically marginalized communities develop and become independent in several ways:

Center for 60 visually impaired children
6-month professional courses in tailoring or office skills
Self Help Groups that offer community savings programs, trainings on how to set up income-generating activities and awareness programs on diverse important social issues
Distribution of emergency kits and services during the covid pandemic, comprising of ration food, medical aid, blankets and support to start a business

𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗥 𝗝𝗢𝗬𝗧𝗜, 𝗪𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗘 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦 🎓

Whether it is through Self Help Groups for women, 6-month professional courses in tailoring and office skills or awareness programs, our sole aim is to give these socially and economically marginalized women and children the opportunity to learn and grow.

For only 40 francs, the price of two cocktails by the Leman Lake, we are sponsoring a young woman’s professional training and changing not only her life but her family’s life.

We are happy to announce that we are extending our help and support to Nepal, where we will be collaborating with the NGO Heart of Nepal, based in Kathmandu! 🇳🇵

We have been touched by the many hardships that the socially and economically marginalized women and children have been facing, especially after the devastating earthquake in 2015 and the 2 difficult years of the Covid pandemic.

Thanks to our trip to Nepal in March and the highly motivated and competent team we have on site, we have already started to implement our projects. We are concentrating on helping 1’500 children in 4 different schools and creating 20 Self Help Groups for 500 women.
